Dr. Morcos is a hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon with special interest in minimally invasive Direct Anterior Hip replacement surgery and general orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Mina W. Morcos is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, including minimally invasive Direct Anterior Hip replacement surgery, orthopedic trauma, and general orthopedic surgery.
He has a special interest in rapid recovery and minimally invasive surgery including Direct Anterior Hip replacement. Dr. Morcos uses the most advanced and durable implants in treating his patients. Moreover, he uses the latest technology available for hip and knee replacement such as intellijoint navigation system.
Dr. Morcos obtained a Diploma in Physical therapy from McGill University in 2008 followed by his Medical Degree from Laval University in 2012. He did his Orthopedic Surgery training at McGill University in Montreal from 2012-2018. During his residency training, he completed his Master’s degree at McGill University.
He completed his first fellowship in complex hip and knee arthroplasty, with emphasis on minimally invasive anterior approach surgery to the hip, at London Health Sciences Centre, Western University from 2018-2019. This was followed by a second fellowship in trauma and lower extremity reconstruction at St Micheal’s Hospital, University of Toronto from 2019-2020. He has been involved in conducting basic science and clinical research, along with presenting research studies at national and international meetings. He has multiple peer reviewed publications in orthopedics with special focus in clinical outcomes and surgical techniques.
He is a member of the Canadian Orthopedic Association, Quebec Orthopedic Association and American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
